From Connected to Conscious: How Technology is transforming the Future of the Home
In his keynote, Matt Rogers, founder and VP of Engineering of Nest, will talk about the future of the conscious home - one that is safer, more energy-efficient, and more aware of its occupants and surroundings. Heג€™ll discuss how our homes can begin taking care of us instead of the other way around.
Rogers will also discuss the Works with Nest program, which enables meaningful interactions between Nest products and other elements of the home. And he will offer a glimpse into whats next for Nest in Europe and beyond.
Auf der "about"-Seite bei nest.com wird Matt als der "Founder & Engineering" vorgestellt:
"Matt was responsible for iPod software development at Apple, from concept to production. He is passionate about mobile products, loves team building and rapid productization. Matt earned his BS and MS degrees from Carnegie Mellon University."

Daniel Sennheiser, 41, was born in Zurich in 1973. After studying product design at the Art Center College of Design in La-Tour-de-Peilz, Switzerland, and Pasadena in the US state of California, he founded his own agency, Digani, in Munich.
Between 1999 and 2002 Daniel Sennheiser worked for various communications agencies in Munich and Zurich, including Pixelpark, Concept! and Ogilvy Interactive. During this time he counted numerous global businesses among his clients. In 2003 he joined Procter & Gamble in Geneva, where his most recent role was Associate Director of Design & Innovation, EMEA.
In March 2008 Daniel Sennheiser joined Sennheiser electronic where he created the Strategic Innovation department, focusing on the long-term strategic orientation of the company.
Since January 2011 Daniel Sennheiser has been a member of the Executive Management Board. As President of Strategy and Finance, he was responsible for Strategic Marketing, Strategic Innovation, Technology and Innovation, Corporate Controlling, and Corporate Finance.
 Dr. sc. techn. Andreas Sennheiser CEO of Sennheiser electronic GmbH & Co. KG
Andreas Sennheiser, 39, was born in Zurich in 1974. In the year 2000 he finished his studies at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETHZ) in Zurich, where he studied Management and Production with a focus on Electrical Engineering and Logistics. In 2004 he completed his doctorate on Performance Indicators and Benchmarking in Supply Chain Management, also at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology.
After completing his doctorate, Dr. Sennheiser worked for Hilti AG in Liechtenstein in the field of Corporate Logistics and Controlling. Remaining at Hilti AG, in 2007 he moved to Thuringen in Austria, where he was the technical manager of a production facility.
Since March 2010, Andreas Sennheiser has been responsible for Lean Management and Strategic Supply Chain Design at audio specialist Sennheiser, where he puts a focus on value-adding processes with a clear customer orientation.
As part of the restructuring of the Sennheiser Group into a divisional company, Andreas Sennheiser has been a member of the Executive Management Board since January 2011. In his role as President, he was responsible for the operational supply chain divisions, i.e. the Sennheiser production plants, logistics, and operational purchasing.
